Invitation to Membership

Historic Prince William was founded in 1988 by a group of local residents concerned with the preservation of the county's history and its historical sites. It is a public organization with officers elected annually by the membership.

The population of Prince William County has grown rapidly in the last 40 years, so few of the current county residents were born or raised here. Historic Prince William helps to fill that cultural gap, so local residents understand the significance of local places.

If you live in the area or commute through the county, joining Historic Prince William is a great way to get to know what's just outside the car window. Develop your interest in history and preservation of Prince William, and become a member.
