Built by Ellicott, who was owner and operator until it was abandoned in 1890. 
Ellicott sold to Jenny of Occoquan, Virginia. Occoquan Co. owns what is left 
of the old mill, that is they bought the water front from Jenny for $25,000. 
The Occoquan Company of New York are the present owners.

The building was a frame structure, but nothing remains except part of the walls.
