There are, or rather were, two mills. the Merchant Mill, of stone and frame top, was standing up to twenty years ago, when it was burned. The ruins are still to be seen. The country mill, which was smiler, had a capacity of only five barrels a day. This was of brick and stone and is no longer standing. Close by the mill site is the mill house which is in good condition. It is a small stone house, built in 1793. It has a brick chimney and is built directly on the banks of the river. 6. HISTORICAL
